Policy Analyst
Connor is a policy analyst whose work is driven by a passion for equity and helping make government systems more capable and more responsive to the needs of the communities they are meant to serve. Connor is particularly adept at understanding how complex systems operate — where they succeed and where they fail – and using both quantitative and qualitative data to understand problems more deeply.
Prior to joining HSRI, Connor was an associate at Delivery Associates, an equity-focused social impact consultancy, where their work spanned a variety of topics including federal grantmaking, infrastructure spending, grid decarbonization, innovative approaches to affordable-housing, and regionally focused environmental sustainability.
Connor also proudly served two terms of service with AmeriCorps where he supported a nonprofit focused on education equity that helped support low-income students’ college access and success.
When not at work, Connor enjoys hiking the Pacific Northwest’s amazing forests, admiring his neighbors’ beautiful gardens, using roleplaying games to tell fun and dramatic stories with his friends, and curling up with an offbeat novel when it rains.
