Mississippi Kinship Navigator Needs Assessment & Feasibility Study
Working with the Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services (MDCPS), we studied the needs of kinship caregivers in Mississippi and evaluated the feasibility of implementing a kinship navigator program. Our research provided MDCPS with the information needed to select a Kinship Navigator program focused on meeting the needs of relative caregivers, while also addressing the federal Family First Prevention Services Act requirements. Colorado Kinship Navigator Program Evaluation
We advised the Colorado Department of Human Services and eight county child welfare agencies in the development and implementation of a pilot Kinship Navigator program under the Family First Prevention Services Act. Currently, we are conducting a randomized control trial aimed at examining the impact of the program on kinship caregiver and child outcomes. Read More

Traumatic Brain Injury Technical Assistance and Resource Center
The Traumatic Brain Injury Technical Assistance and Resource Center (TBI TARC) is a national center funded by the Administration for Community Living. HSRI is serving as the Center’s administrator along with NASHIA, helping states promote access to integrated, coordinated services and supports for people who have sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI), their families, and their caregivers. The Center will also provide resources to a wide variety of stakeholders. Read More
