Avinash Yavvari is an associate data engineer whose work is driven by a passion for working on social issues and improving health systems. He believes in data-driven decisions and is highly skilled in data engineering tasks, database management, machine learning, and visualization tools.
Prior to joining HSRI, Avinash was a graduate teaching assistant in the cybersecurity department at George Mason University, assisting with system modelling and cybersecurity certification courses. Prior to that, he worked as a data analyst at Accenture, focusing on survey data processing and insights.
When not at work, Avinash enjoys traveling. He has traveled to more than half the states in the U.S. and he loves to interact with people from different backgrounds.
