Saska Rajcevic is a policy associate whose work is driven by a passion for systems change, community engagement, and person-centered practices. She is experienced in leading state and federal initiatives to improve services and supports for people with disabilities and older adults. Saska is a national subject matter expert in person-centered planning and a founding member of the Center for Advancing Person-Centered Systems at HSRI. She has provided direct technical assistance and training to numerous human service agencies to support the implementation of person-centered practices. Saska develops practical resources that help organizations apply person-centered values in everyday practice. She also supports states in designing engagement strategies that elevate community voices through listening sessions, focus groups, interviews, and other participatory approaches.
Prior to joining HSRI, Saska was a policy program specialist at Utah’s Division of Services for People with Disabilities, where her work addressed best practices for person-centered planning and compliance with the Home and Community-Based Services Final Rule. Before that, Saska worked as a fair housing testing coordinator on projects related to access and ensuring a just housing market for the Utah Disability Law Center.
When not at work, Saska enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to true crime podcasts, and taking naps with her cat.
