How can we help?Let's talk
Sarah Taub 1971 - 2013
It is with deep regret that HSRI announces the passing of our friend and colleague Sarah Taub. Sarah died Saturday, August 3, 2013 after a 10-month fight with cancer.
Since she began working at HSRI in 1996, Sarah became a vital and irreplaceable asset to the HSRI team. Sarah most recently served as the Project Director for the National Core Indicators (NCI) project. As part of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) National Quality Enterprise team, Sarah provided technical assistance to states in the areas of quality assurance and improvement strategies for Home and Community Based Waiver services. Sarah also served on the board of the Newton Wellesley Weston (NWW) Committee for Community Living, which serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. She is the author of many peer-reviewed professional publications and received awards for her outstanding research. Sarah’s contributions to the field of human services research are unparalleled.
Sarah will be greatly missed by HSRI and beyond.
Services will be on Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at 12:00 noon at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon St., Brookline, MA. Interment to follow at the Framingham-Natick Jewish Cemetery.
