Yuan is the Population Health team’s director of data warehouse analytics. Her work is driven by a commitment to help promote transparency and clearer choices in healthcare access and equity.
Prior to joining HSRI, Yuan was a SQL data quality analyst at Hanger, Inc., where she analyzed the quality of purchase history data for prosthetic and orthotic clinics. Prior to that, Yuan worked as a data analytics consultant on internal consulting projects for the management groups of Fletcher Allen Healthcare. In this role, she assessed a fee schedule for a hospital and developed a financial simulation tool to project the impacts of budget cuts to a graduate medical education program.
When not at work, Yuan enjoys reading, playing Sudoku, and long walks.
