Ray Rodriguez

Technical Support Lead

Ray is the technical support lead for HSRI's Population Health team. His work is driven by a passion for data quality and flawless user experiences. He is deeply knowledgeable about the state data systems and portals designed and/or supported by the team, and he supports a wide range of stakeholders (providers, payors, etc.) throughout the data submission process. He also works with them to quickly address data quality issues so that states have a reliable, trusted source of timely information to serve a full range of research and quality improvement purposes.

Ray also has deep experience in maintaining and supporting customer relationships, working with support, call center, and knowledge-based systems. He is fluent in Spanish and French, and is an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE).

Prior to joining HSRI, Ray was a customer service supervisor at National Braille Press and assisted in the promotion of literacy for blind children through braille and access to information. In addition, Ray worked in data moderation and user support with Wiser, a retail intelligence platform.

When not at work, Ray enjoys everything design:  fashion, graphic, and architecture. He is an avid knitter, illustrator, and pattern drafter.


  • Master of arts in curriculum and instruction from New Mexico State University
  • Bachelor of business in finance and accountancy from New Mexico State University
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design and media arts from Southern New Hampshire University
