Melissa is a strategic project manager with our Population Health team, and her work is driven by a passion for improving health care transparency and creating meaningful user experiences. Melissa is particularly skilled at working with public agencies to strategize solutions to enhance data-driven projects, manage resources, and implement activities. With roots in marketing and communications, she is also highly skilled in creating content strategies and evaluating user experiences and understandability. In addition to supporting clients in designing, developing, and maintaining health care public reporting tools and websites, Melissa also has deep experience collaborating with stakeholders, conducting usability testing, and turning ideas into actionable opportunities.
Prior to joining HSRI, Melissa was an account strategist at Wowza, where she was responsible for developing and executing marketing, public relations, and website campaigns for a variety of projects, including Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Aligning Forces for Quality communities.
When not at work, Melissa enjoys spending time on the lake, cooking new recipes, and going on family adventures.
