Leigh is a health care data analyst whose work is driven by a passion for high-quality data that leads to better health outcomes in the population. Leigh is particularly skilled at working with public health agency staff to continuously build and improve upon on key population health measures. Leigh is also highly skilled in communicating complex health outcomes to a variety of stakeholders, and in developing and improving analytic code in R and SQL. She is further specialized in translating clinical terminology for both stakeholders and colleagues.

Prior to joining HSRI, Leigh was a research specialist II at Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute, where her work contributed to data collection and analysis for studies examining acute and chronic diseases. She also completed her Master of Public Health degree in epidemiology, where her research focused on patterns of cancer screening in people living with HIV.

When not at work, Leigh enjoys traveling, paddleboarding, yoga, and trying new recipes and restaurants.
