Karen, a business systems analyst, is dedicated to leveraging technology in support of values-driven initiatives. She supports a data collection and analysis application that allows state and project team users to enter and use data from the National Core Indicators and National Core Indicators–Aging and Disability survey tools. Karen takes a collaborative approach to work, and her insights help maintain a focus on quality outcomes for the team.
Prior to joining HSRI, Karen was an applications developer at The Community Builders, helping to create databases and software to track the company’s development and management of affordable housing properties. She began her career in information technology at the Kennedy School of Government, where she initially provided desktop support and later moved on to network administration.
When not at work, Karen enjoys playing congas and percussion in a jazz band.
