ProtectOHIO Family Team Meetings Evaluation Brief 2016

Date: 07/2016

Author(s): HSRI

Family Team Meetings (FTM) are a method for engaging family members and people who can support the family in a process of collaborative case decision-making. Designed to increase the likelihood of creating a realistic and achievable case plan that will lead to lasting safety and permanency for children, FTMs provide an opportunity for parents, extended family, service providers, and members of the family’s natural support system to build partnerships.

This brief shares the findings of HSRI's evaluation of Family Team Meetings in 16 Ohio Public Children Services Agencies as part of an evaluation of Ohio's Title IV-E waiver demonstration.
