This Data Brief revisits a topic previously addressed in the May 2008 Data Brief, which looked at people with a diagnosis of autism. This update explores characteristics and responses of individuals who had a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (which includes Autism, Asperger Syndrome, and Pervasive Developmental Disorder) and contrasts them with characteristics and responses of individuals who did not.
