Job Openings: Child and Family Welfare Team at HSRI West

The Human Services Research Institute (HSRI) is pleased to announce position openings in its Child and Family Services Research Team in Tualatin, Oregon. HSRI is a diverse and progressive non-profit firm that conducts research and evaluation and provides training and technical assistance in the fields of child welfare, developmental disabilities and behavioral health. Within the next two months, we expect to hire 2-3 professional staff at the Research Assistant and Research Analyst levels to work with our Child and Family team on several evaluations of human service delivery systems and programs.

Duties for these full time positions will include: collecting and managing data, assembling charts and graphs, and preparing reports. Duties may also include a wide variety of specialized functions to support multiple projects such as quantitative and qualitative analysis, conducting interviews, creating and implementing surveys, report writing, and grant writing. Team members will be expected to participate in decision making, problem solving, and contact with state funders. Some field work may also be required.

We are especially interested in professionals who have experience in program evaluation and research, with training/education in all areas of human service, including; social work, psychology, sociology, mental health, juvenile justice, and the social welfare system. Generally, while relevant experience is an important consideration, we find that Research Assistants at HSRI have a Bachelor degree from an accredited university in the targeted subject area, whereas Research Analysts have a Master’s degree.

The salary range for these positions is $35,000 - $55,000 per year. HSRI offers a generous benefits package.
