Project Coordinator

Elayne is a project coordinator whose work is driven by a passion for disability advocacy. She is particularly dedicated to expanding public understanding of person-centered approaches and working with public agencies to make sure that support systems reflect person-centered values. Elayne is highly skilled in plain language communication, and she has deep experience in working with disability policy and home- and community-based services.

Prior to joining HSRI, Elayne was a government relations intern at Centene, where her work addressed the HCBS bills and the development of a policy roadmap for lobbyists. Prior to that, Elayne worked as a communications coordinator on projects related to disability advocacy at the Alliance for Citizen Directed Supports. Elayne has also volunteered for the Issues Committee with the Autism National Committee.

When not at work, Elayne enjoys riding and finding new bike routes, camping, and photography.
