Casey is a research analyst whose work is driven by a passion for health equity and improving healthcare for all. He is dedicated to working with public agency staff to ensure they have the highest quality data possible to inform best practices and policy. Casey has deep experience working with and leveraging the power of big data in health research and is adept at using SAS to produce high-quality tables, lists, figures, and datasets.
Prior to joining HSRI, Casey was a surveillance epidemiologist at the Florida Department of Health, where his work addressed vaccine-preventable diseases and monitoring immunizations throughout the state. Prior to that, Casey worked as a data engineer at the University of South Florida’s College of Medicine, where his work supported numerous NIH-funded clinical research studies.
When not at work, Casey enjoys traveling, enjoying nature, and exercise.
