Technical Support Analyst

Brian is a technical support analyst who's passionate about maintaining clear and organized processes in support of users, clients, and coworkers. He is particularly dedicated to working with public agency staff to ensure the data quality of state datasets. Brian is also highly skilled in providing Help Desk support, troubleshooting program issues, investigating data flaws, and responding to data inquires. In addition to supporting clients in data intake, Brian has deep experience in working with national code standards. He frequently works with programs such as Microsoft SQL Server, HP Vertica, and Tableau in support of reporting tasks.

Prior to joining HSRI, Brian was an application support engineer at Blueport Commerce. Prior to that, Brian worked as a technical support representative on projects related to dynamic composition of print and digital media. Brian has volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club of America, Big Brother Big Sister, and Oasis Center.

When not at work, Brian enjoys swing dancing, cycling, drawing, reading, programming, and tabletop games. He also likes to get together with his family to go kayaking, climb trees, and bake pies.
