Ashley has over ten years of experience in project management. Ambitious and self-directed, she has a history of working in the hospital and healthcare industry, leading and delivering on small-scale and complex projects. Ashley has a passion for projects related to quality of life for people with disabilities. At HSRI, she plays an integral role in developing project strategies, prioritizing goals, and producing comprehensive and actionable plans; coordinating efforts amongst stakeholders and project teams; tracking project deliverables against schedules; and monitoring, communicating, and reporting on progress to clients and stakeholders.
Ashley was a Project Manager of Community Health at Three Rivers Youth and a Project Consultant at Carnegie Learning Pittsburgh, PA. Her work focuses on improving the quality of life for high-stress professionals and the communities they serve. She has led projects in infection control, human resources, and nursing administration at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and has provided training and technical assistance to increase productivity and reduce burnout. During her time at TRY, she designed and executed a series of focus groups funded by the Pennsylvania Developmental Disabilities Council. These multi-site projects aimed to eliminate barriers to accessing healthcare.
Ashley Baptiste, MBA, MEd, CSM is a certified scrum master and yoga teacher with additional training in project management. She is a board member at Awaken Pittsburgh, a nonprofit organization committed to serving people, communities, and society at large through evidence-based meditation and mindfulness programs.
Ashley is a member of the Scrum Alliance, Project Management Institute, Urban League Young Professionals (ULYP), and National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA). She is a former professional development chair of ULYP, former membership chair of NBMBAA Pittsburgh Chapter, and former board member of CARE Ownership (now Catapult Pittsburgh).
