Alli is a research analyst and project manager whose work is driven by a passion for equity and consumer voice. Alli is particularly skilled at working with public agency staff to develop and implement inclusive programs and projects based on consumer feedback and involvement. Alli is also adept at qualitative methods and analysis, including contextualizing and meaning-making, as well as targeted communication and technical assistance. In addition to supporting clients in program and project development, Alli has deep experience working with child welfare populations, especially transition-age foster youth.
Prior to joining HSRI, Alli was a research assistant at the Portland State University Center for Improvement of Child and Family Services, where her evaluation work spanned child welfare, social safety nets, and addictions. Prior to that, Alli worked on projects related to economic and community development in neighboring Idaho. As a practitioner, Alli worked in a residential treatment facility, and with children with intellectual disabilities.
When not at work, Alli enjoys bike commuting and is an adjunct instructor in the Portland State University School of Social Work.
