Technical Assistance

The mission of HSRI explicitly includes a commitment to increasing the capability, information, and resources available to public managers in the human services field. Since the inception of the Institute, we have translated what we have learned through research, observation, and evaluation into practical tools for public administrators and other stakeholders. HSRI has been a federally supported technical assistance center in systems change evaluation as well as for family support. As part of our work with the National Quality Enterprise, we have provided technical assistance to numerous states with respect to quality assurance a Home and Community Based Waivers. HSRI is part of the consortium that provides technical assistance as part of Money Follows the Persons as well as Rebalancing initiatives. In child welfare, the Institute is known for our work in documenting best practices and disseminating information to interested stakeholders.
