    Data Analysis Coordination and Consolidation Center (DACCC)

    In 2007, HSRI was awarded the Data Analysis Coordination and Consolidation Center (DACCC), a five year contract by SAMHSA’s Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP). CSAP is required to collect and manage large amounts of data, process those data to create information, and use that information to create reports that serve the Center’s needs, assess its performance, and advance the prevention field. CSAP looks to the DACCC to provide a centralized, comprehensive and coordinated data and analytic resource (for process, capacity, outcome and trend data at all levels of analysis including individual, project, community, state and national) for accountability, program planning and policy decisions.

  • The Jail Diversion Cost Simulation Model

    The Jail Diversion Cost Simulation Model
    (2006-2009)

    The TAPA Center at Policy Research Associates Inc. is funded by SAMHSA to address the Technical Assistance and Policy Analysis needs of communities in developing programs to divert people with mental illness from jail into community-based treatment and supports. HSRI role includes pilot testing the HSRI simulation model at selected sites across the country.

    Louisiana Framework for Delivery of Services to People with Developmental Disabilities, and Mental Health and Substance Abuse Problems

    The Department of Health and Hospitals in Lousiana has contracted with HSRI to: 1. Review the current draft of the framework to eliminate redundancy, incorporate public suggestions, and check for internal consistency. 2. Work with a stakeholder group to elicit additional suggesitons and modifications 3. Prepare a final version of the framework for submission to rule making 4. Work with a stakeholder group to develop a plan for implementing the framework
