Viewing Projects By Focus Area: Substance Use
In 2007, HSRI was awarded the Data Analysis Coordination and Consolidation Center (DACCC), a five year contract by SAMHSA’s Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP). CSAP is required to collect and manage large amounts of data, process those data to create information, and use that information to create reports that serve the Center’s needs, assess its performance, and advance the prevention field. CSAP looks to the DACCC to provide a centralized, comprehensive and coordinated data and analytic resource (for process, capacity, outcome and trend data at all levels of analysis including individual, project, community, state and national) for accountability, program planning and policy decisions.
The Jail Diversion Cost Simulation Model
The TAPA Center at Policy Research Associates Inc. is funded by SAMHSA to address the Technical Assistance and Policy Analysis needs of communities in developing programs to divert people with mental illness from jail into community-based treatment and supports. HSRI role includes pilot testing the HSRI simulation model at selected sites across the country.
