    Money Follows the Person Technical Assistance
    (2007-2011)

    Under subcontract to Ascellon Corporation (through a Task Order with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services), HSRI will assist the Centers for Medicaid and State Operations (CMSO) in the provision of technical assistance primarily to eight of 31 states awarded MFP grants. These states include Missouri, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, New Jersey, Kansas, Louisiana and Delaware.

  • Louisiana Cross Population Quality Improvement

    Louisiana Cross Population Quality Improvement
    (2006-2009)

    HSRI, under contract with the State of Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals (DHH) through a Systems Transformation Grant funded by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, assisted DHH in developing a comprehensive quality management strategy consistent with the state’s transformation of its long term support system for individuals with disabilities, elders and individuals with developmental disabilities.

    Route to Success - Systems Change

    In these tight financial times, it’s more important than ever that Developmental Disabilities Councils across the country make the most effective use of their limited resources. HSRI has developed a systems change model, along with a set of tools for implementation, that Councils may use to foster systems change work and add value to their existing projects.

  • Mental Health/Jail Diversion Resource Allocation and Planning Model

    Mental Health/Jail Diversion Resource Allocation and Planning Model
    (2002-2003)

    This project was funded by SAMHSA to develop a computerized budget simulation and resource allocation model for projecting the costs and potential cost offsets of implementing jail or prison diversion programs for offenders with mental illness. HSRI worked with SAMHSA to develop the jail diversion model and apply it to data from multi-site project.

  • National Quality Enterprise

    National Quality Enterprise
    (2001)

    The National Quality Enterprise (NQE) is a collaborative project with Thomson Reuters and is a continuation of HSRI’s work as part of the National Quality Contractor that began in 2001. NQE provides technical assistance to states regarding the development of their quality improvement systems as part of their Home and Community Based Waiver programs. HSRI’s specific role is to work with states with developmental disabilities waivers.
