Oregon's Alcohol & Drug Services Analysis
(2008)Through a contract with the Governor's office of Oregon, HSRI completed an in-depth analysis for the addictions prevention, treatment and recovery services system, with a focus on understanding how much the state of Oregon and units of local government invest, and which services are most beneficial.

Ohio Transformation Manager
(2006-2011)Beginning in June 2006 HSRI was contracted to provide Transformation-related services to the Ohio Department of Mental Health. The primary component of these services is Transformation Manager (TM). HSRI generated a version of Transformation Manager for Ohio, a web-based project management software application that tailored specifically for mental health system transformation efforts.

Louisiana Framework for Delivery of Services to People with Developmental Disabilities, and Mental Health and Substance Abuse Problems
(2004)The Department of Health and Hospitals in Lousiana has contracted with HSRI to: 1. Review the current draft of the framework to eliminate redundancy, incorporate public suggestions, and check for internal consistency. 2. Work with a stakeholder group to elicit additional suggesitons and modifications 3. Prepare a final version of the framework for submission to rule making 4. Work with a stakeholder group to develop a plan for implementing the framework

Evaluation of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) Alternatives to Reduce and Eliminate the Use of Restraint and Seclusion
(2004-2009)Through a subcontract with the National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors (NASMHPD), National Technical Assistance Center (NTAC), HSRI is conducting the evaluation of the first round of ASR State Infrastructure Grant (SIG) grantees. Among the deliverables produced through this project was the Development of the Inventory of Seclusion and Restraint Reduction Interventions (ISRRI) which is a fidelity measure to assess the implementation of alternatives to restraint and seclusion such as the NTAC 6 Core Strategies, a final report, case studies, and the submission of an application for the NTAC 6 Core Strategies for the SAMHSA National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices.
