Evaluation of the Minnesota Preferred Integrated Network (PIN) Program
(2013-2015)The Preferred Integration Network (PIN) program is currently being implemented in Dakota County, Minnesota by a managed care organization (MCO)/county partnership involving Medica Health Plan, Dakota County, and Medica Behavioral Health. Enrollees in the program are Dakota county adults with SMI and children with SED who are enrolled in Medicaid.

Oregon Independent Living
(2010-2011)The Oregon Department of Human Services has contracted with HSRI, first in 2007-2008, and again in 2010-2011, to conduct program reviews of the 18 Independent Living Programs in Oregon.

Hogg Foundation on Evaluation of Alternatives to Seclusion and Restraint for Trauma-informed Care
(2009-Present)This project was funded by the Hogg Foundation to evaluate successful initiatives in Texas to reduce the use of seclusion and restraint in juvenile justice facilities, psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers and schools.

Quality Improvement, Quality Councils and Performance Measures in Georgia
(2008)HSRI, as a subcontractor to the Delmarva Foundation, is providing support to the Georgia Division of Developmental Disabilities to enhance through quality improvement system by facilitating the state quality council, working with state managers to developmental performance measures, assisting on the development of a mortality review and human rights protocol, and conducting and conducting surveys to validate the NCI consumer survey process.

Quality Improvement, Quality Councils and Performance Measures in Florida
(2008)HSRI is working with the Delmarva Foundation to assist the state Medicaid and developmental disabilities agency to improve the quality of services and supports in the state. HSRI’s specific tasks include helping to constitute a state quality council, developing training material for the council participants, assisting in the development of performance indicators, training NCI surveyors, and conducting validity checks to ensure the integrity of the surveys.
