    Through a contract with the Governor's office of Oregon, HSRI completed an in-depth analysis for the addictions prevention, treatment and recovery services system, with a focus on understanding how much the state of Oregon and units of local government invest, and which services are most beneficial.

  • National Quality Enterprise

    National Quality Enterprise
    (2001)

    The National Quality Enterprise (NQE) is a collaborative project with Thomson Reuters and is a continuation of HSRI’s work as part of the National Quality Contractor that began in 2001. NQE provides technical assistance to states regarding the development of their quality improvement systems as part of their Home and Community Based Waiver programs. HSRI’s specific role is to work with states with developmental disabilities waivers.

    The Oregon Progress Board worked with county Commissions on Children and Families to help them measure and monitor their performance against the Oregon Benchmarks, a set of high-level outcomes tied to improving the quality of life in Oregon.

    Identifying and Assessing Person Centered Practices in Developmental Disabilities
    (1999-2002)

    HSRI conducted this project in collaboration with the National Association of State Directors of Developmental Disabilities Services and the Institute on Community Integration at the University of Minnesota. The purpose of the project was to develop methods for identifying and assessing person-centered practices regarding the provision of services and supports to people with developmental disabilities and their families.
