    Implementing Permanent Supportive Housing for People with Disabilities in Louisiana

    The Technical Assistance Collaborative is providing direct capacity building, technical assistance and policy support to key service system organizations to assure they can participate effectively in the development, rent-up, and delivery of sustainable cross-disability supportive services for 3,000 new permanent supportive housing households including people who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness.

    The Department of Health and Hospitals in Lousiana has contracted with HSRI to: 1. Review the current draft of the framework to eliminate redundancy, incorporate public suggestions, and check for internal consistency. 2. Work with a stakeholder group to elicit additional suggesitons and modifications 3. Prepare a final version of the framework for submission to rule making 4. Work with a stakeholder group to develop a plan for implementing the framework

    The Evaluation Center@HSRI (TEC) was a program funded by the Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) to provide technical assistance related to the evaluation of adult mental health systems change. The mission of TEC was to provide evaluation services and/or technical assistance to mental health system stakeholders including, but not limited to states, providers, consumers, and evaluators for improving the planning, implementation, and operation of adult mental health services.

    Funded through the Homelessness Resource Center and the Institute on Housing and Trauma (IHAT), HSRI produced a report combining a guide for homeless mental health service consumers and an evidentiary review for providers, advocates, administrators, and policy-makers who recommend, offer, advocate for, plan, and develop housing.
