Evaluation of a SAMHSA-funded Cooperative Agreement for HIV/AIDS Related Mental Health Services in Minority Communities
(2008-2012)HSRI is the evaluator for a SAMHSA grant provided to the Cambridge Health Alliance and four community partners to apply the ACT model to persons with HIV/AIDS and mental illness. The program serves individuals from the Portuguese (Brazilian, Azorean), Latino and Haitian communities. The evaluation includes the collection of client outcomes data, service utilization data, and fidelity monitoring.

Implementing Permanent Supportive Housing for People with Disabilities in Louisiana
(2007-2010)The Technical Assistance Collaborative is providing direct capacity building, technical assistance and policy support to key service system organizations to assure they can participate effectively in the development, rent-up, and delivery of sustainable cross-disability supportive services for 3,000 new permanent supportive housing households including people who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness.

Technical Assistance Provider to CMS 2004 Real Choice Systems Change Mental Health Transformation Grantees
(2005-2009)This project provided ongoing technical assistance and training opportunities to 10 states awarded grants in the mental health area. The purpose was to improve the ability of States to offer evidence-based and recovery-oriented services to consumers with mental illnesses with support of the Medicaid system.
