    Evaluation of a SAMHSA-funded Cooperative Agreement for HIV/AIDS Related Mental Health Services in Minority Communities
    (2008-2012)

    HSRI is the evaluator for a SAMHSA grant provided to the Cambridge Health Alliance and four community partners to apply the ACT model to persons with HIV/AIDS and mental illness. The program serves individuals from the Portuguese (Brazilian, Azorean), Latino and Haitian communities. The evaluation includes the collection of client outcomes data, service utilization data, and fidelity monitoring.

    Effects of Perceived Cultural Responsiveness and Technical Quality of Care on Perceived Overall QOC
    (2008-2010)

    This project is looking at the relationship between perceived cultural responsiveness (PCR) and technical quality (TQ) of care and perceived overall quality of care (POQC) in multicultural populations with depressive disorders. The hypothesis is that when PCR and TQ are higher, POQC will be higher.

  • Juntos Podemos Family Cooperative

    Juntos Podemos Family Cooperative
    (2005)

    HSRI received funding from The Kaiser Permanente Community Fund and Northwest Health Foundation to establish and operate the Juntos Podemos Family Cooperative. This Cooperative creates opportunities for families who have a child with disabilities to own their first home, start a new business, return to school, or meet the specialized/adaptive needs of their child.

    Evaluation of Collaboration in the National Child Traumatic Stress Network

    As a subcontractor to and partner with Abt Associates, HSRI is evaluating collaboration among researchers and providers in the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN). The NCTSN is a nationwide collaborative network of organizations involved in research in areas pertaining to child traumatic stress and/or in the assessment, treatment, and support of children and their families affected by traumatic stress.

    The Evaluation Center@HSRI (TEC) was a program funded by the Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) to provide technical assistance related to the evaluation of adult mental health systems change. The mission of TEC was to provide evaluation services and/or technical assistance to mental health system stakeholders including, but not limited to states, providers, consumers, and evaluators for improving the planning, implementation, and operation of adult mental health services.
