Maine Health Data Warehouse
(2013-Present)In 2013, HSRI was selected to build and operate a data warehouse for the Maine Health Data Organization (MHDO). As a part of this ten-year contract with the State of Maine, HSRI and its partners are building a highly secure and robust data warehouse to collect and house health care claims, encounter and eligibility data , hospital financial data and other related information. HSRI is leading the project, working closely in partnership with the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago (NORC) and the Public Consulting Group (PCG).

Evaluation of the Minnesota Preferred Integrated Network (PIN) Program
(2013-2015)The Preferred Integration Network (PIN) program is currently being implemented in Dakota County, Minnesota by a managed care organization (MCO)/county partnership involving Medica Health Plan, Dakota County, and Medica Behavioral Health. Enrollees in the program are Dakota county adults with SMI and children with SED who are enrolled in Medicaid.

Mental Health System Planning by the Numbers
(2010-Present)Using a clinically based computer implemented model, HSRI developed a dynamic approach for estimating mental health system needs and resources. This approach is based on a simulation that, over time, can estimate changes to consumer outcomes in functioning as services are delivered, and the resource capacity needed to generate and respond to such outcomes.

Evaluation of Ohio's Differential Response Research and Demonstration Project
(2010-2013)With funding from the U.S. Children's Bureau, HSRI is conducting a three-year evaluation of the Differential Response (DR) Initiative in Ohio, a best-practices approach to serving families reported for child abuse or neglect. DR provides an alternative to the traditional child welfare investigative approach, rather offering families a more critical role in assuring the safety and well-being of their children.

Oregon Independent Living
(2010-2011)The Oregon Department of Human Services has contracted with HSRI, first in 2007-2008, and again in 2010-2011, to conduct program reviews of the 18 Independent Living Programs in Oregon.
