Where Does North Carolina Stand? A comparison of Medicaid-funded Residential Service Trends, Nationally and in North Carolina for People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
The North Carolina Council on Developmental Disabilities engaged HSRI to review past trends in residential service delivery in North Carolina and Nationally. National data was reviewed and analyzed to study what changes have occured within the state, and nationally between 1998 and 2008. In focus was Medicaid utilization, residential service options and Medicaid and state funsing for services. Following the report, presenations were made to North Carolina legislatures about past performance and future opportunities.
