System Change Tools for Developmental Disabilities Councils
In these tight financial times, it’s more important than ever that Developmental Disabilities Councils across the country make the most effective use of their limited resources. HSRI has developed a systems change model, along with a set of tools for implementation, that Councils may use to foster systems change work and add value to their existing projects. Each of the components has an accompanying narrative, a graphic representation, and a set of slides that may be used in training.

The Route to Success System Change Model
HSRI has developed the model and field tested it with the Pennsylvania Developmental Disabilities Council. It has inspired Council members to think more broadly about Council work and grantees to collaborate in new and successful ways to accomplish goals.

Services available from HSRI to implement Route to Success
HSRI staff is available to work with your Council, its staff, and its committees to implement any component of the model. HSRI is available to provide training, consultation, and direct support to Councils and their grantees as they implement the Route to Success model.
